Synopsis

**Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World** is set in a world where two opposing factions are locked in a never-ending war: the Empire and the Nebulis Sovereignty. The war has lasted for many years, and while the battles continue, both sides have lost a great deal. The protagonist, Iska, is a young genius swordsman who fights for the Empire. However, his path crosses with the princess of the enemy Sovereignty, Aliceliese, and their fates intertwine in unexpected ways.

As the story unfolds, Iska and Aliceliese, despite being enemies, develop a complicated relationship, where their admiration for one another grows. The anime explores themes of love, duty, and the question of whether a peaceful resolution is possible in a world torn by conflict.
